ACT Cuboree Digital Photo Albums

A Cuboree is like a Jamboree for Cubs, and in the ACT a Cuboree is held every three years.

In January 2002, 'The Next Level' ACT Cuboree was held at Camp Cottermouth, Canberra.

A technological 'first' for Cuborees in 2002 "The Next Level ACT Cuboree 2002 Digital Photo Album" was created for Scouts ACT by Multilocus.

Containing over 3000 fully searchable captioned photographs taken over a four day period; the Cuboree theme song; information about the Cuboree; a slide show; and a puzzle, the Album is a lasting momento of a fantastic adventure enjoyed by over 1200 Cub Scouts, Leaders and helpers at the Cuboree, and an excellent marketing tool for Scouts Australia.

The development of this CD-ROM became an integral part of the Cuboree as Scouts and Leaders participated in taking photographs, writing captions and contributing to its design. Everyone present was able to watch the Photo Album evolve during the course of the event as it was built on site and able to be viewed on computers at the Cuboree.

"The Next Level ACT Cuboree 2002 Digital Photo Album" was such a success that Scouts ACT asked Multilocus to come along to the Cuboree in 2005 and produce another - the "Dream On ACT Cuboree 2005 Digital Photo Album".
